The goal of the drive is to be able to upgrade the Polarbear Studio with a proper backup solution, preferably something that runs with Time Machine for mac!

By supporting the show you're helping me out with the stuff I need for getting the show properly backed up, so I don't loose anything should my system ever fail. As of now it hasn't yet, but for every day that passes I become more and more nervous that it will, and statistcally I'm right on that point.

How to find the means and motivation in times as these: It's tough out there for all of us now, but one way is to collect all the spare change you have lying aorund in your house or flat and donate the sum of that to the show. It's not like you've been missing it, right?

Another way of approaching it is to ask yourself what you think one episode is worth. 50 cents? One dollar? two pounds? 100 Yen? It's up to you! Then take that amount and multiply it by the number of shows you've enjoyed over the years and the sum you come up with is the amount you donate. That seems pretty fair, right?

Or you can just donate any sum you feel like, if your pockets are that deep.

Whatever way you choose, it would be great fun to not only get the donations themselves, but also a comment on how you came up with the sum that you are kind enough to ship my way. However small the donation is! Because when it comes down to it, this is a community and I want to know how my listeners think. After all - I love you guys, and all the time and energy I put into the show, is because of you!

Any amount exceeding what the backup solution finally costs, which I guess will be around $300 - $500, will be forwarded to the WWF for their work with saving polar bears in the wild. I will give you a report on how that goes on the show.

Thank you very much for helping out!!!
